5^x=8: The Blind Leading the Blind.

Tuesday and Thursday mornings are always a nightmare for me. It usually consist of a crazy explosion of trying to get ready in fifteen minuets, grab my morning coffee, and remember my books. Things are not pretty. But this morning I made it to my eight o'clock class only five minuets late. (be proud) I was prepared for my professor's lecture on the "beautiful" knowledge of algebra. (his words, not mine) and a quiz at the end of class. Well this is not what I arrived to. He started to ask the class to work on our class homework in groups of two. That was a HUGE mistake and lack of judgement. Why? Well being the "math phobic" person I am, I usually have to make a trip to my professor's office the day after class to re learn and understand the material. Therefore, I had no clue what was going on this morning. And to make matters 100x worse I got stuck with the girl who had no clue what was going on either. So there we sat, eyes fixed on these terrifying problems that glared back a us. This became problematic as our professor started asking us our answers for problems 5,6, and 7. We hadn't even started 1,2,and 3. However, after many raised hands and explanations, class was finally over. It was a perfect example of the blind leading the blind. It just doesn't work out very well. ( not to mention it's dangerous)
